Emma Kathryn (Hershberger) Holland, age 54, of Madison, WI died on May 21, 2010. She was born on November 30, 1955 at Plain City, OH to Eli M. and Elizabeth C. (Yoder) Hershberger. On October 4, 2003 she married David Holland, and lived in matrimony six years, seven months, and seventeen days. She worked at Kalscheur's and Miller's grocery stores in Mt. Horeb, a nanny, and in home care for Create Ability for many years. Emma is survived by her husband David, mother Elizabeth of Lagrange IN, a brother Noah of Monticello, WI, four sisters Barbara (Perry) Bontrager of Lagrange, IN, Marilyn of Lagrange, IN, Rebecca (William) Miller of Albany, WI, and Amanda of Lagrange, IN, a sister-in-law Sandy Hershberger of Monticello, WI six nephews, nine nieces, and two great-nieces, aunts, uncles, and many relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, grandparents, four uncles, three aunts, and one nephew. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 506 12th Ave., New Glarus, WI with the Rev. Gene Talley officiating with burial in the Amish Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until time of services on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at the Shepherd of the Hills Church. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established. The Zentner-Beal Funeral Home of New Glarus is assisting the family.
