Edward Joseph Ziegler, age 90 passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at SSM Health in Monroe, WI.  He was born on August 18, 1935 the son of Joe and Margaret (Laufenberg) Ziegler on a farm outside Middleton, WI.  Ed graduated from Middleton High School and began working as a Tile Setter.  Ed owned and operated EZ-Tile for over forty years, and his sons Joe and Dave would join him in business. He took pride in a job well done, and enjoyed the relationships developed with fellow contractors and customers.  Ed was proud of his family, and he was a member of the Primrose Lutheran Church.  He enjoyed polka dancing, playing cards, and finding a good slice of pie.

Ed is survived by his six children Michael (Anna) Ziegler, Nancy (David) Kratz, Joe (Brenda) Ziegler, David (Andrea) Ziegler, Diana Ziegler, and Roger Ziegler, seventeen grandchildren Rochelle (Matt), Jennifer, Steven, Sarah, Benjamin (Jennifer), Vince, Kaitlyn, Garrett (Ali), William, Sonya (Jameison), Marieke (Eddie), Dallas, Claire, Nathan, Jacob (Emma), Audrey, and Graham, twelve great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.  He is further survived by his stepchildren Laura (Douglas) Ramich and David Tschudy, step-grandchildren Madeline (Nick) and Markell (Tyler), a step-great-grandchild, first wife Lois Elliott and companion Donna Mueller.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson Nicholas Diehl, siblings Rosalia Buechner, Lucille Wipperfurth, Marion Ballweg, and Leonard Ziegler, wife Sharon Tschudy-Ziegler, and step-daughter-in-law Wendy Tschudy.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Primrose Lutheran Church, 8770 Ridge Dr., Belleville, WI with Pastor Jason Hill officiating.  Inurnment will be at a later date at the Primrose East Cemetery, rural Belleville.

A visitation will precede the funeral service from 10:00 a.m. until time of services on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at the Primrose Lutheran Church, 8770 Ridge Dr., Belleville, WI.
