Duane Leroy Wirth (Beanie), 63, of Monticello, WI passed away at home surrounded by loving family on May 6th, 2023. Duane is survived by his wife Jori of 39 years, son Corey (Katie), grandchildren Zoey and Rylan, and son Casey (Elizabeth). Duane was a loving father, husband, grandfather, and friend to all. Duane loved working beside his son Casey and good friends at Sugar River Power Center. He also enjoyed his time cooking in local establishments where he often joked "order what you want, eat what you get". Duane enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren on the farm as well as the sights and sounds from his deck with his favorite adult beverage. Beanie's sense of humor, kindness, and infectious laugh will be missed by all. A special thank you to Heath Marty, Kirby Kauk, all of the friends, families, and neighbors who worked tirelessly to finish their new home and to allow Duane to enjoy his last couple days there.

A gathering will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 19, 2023 at the Zentner-Beal Funeral Home, 29 Sixth Ave., New Glarus, WI.

A Celebration of Duane's life will be held at a later date, at their home.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
