Doris E. Paulson, age 90 passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Agrace HospiceCare, Inc. in Fitchburg. She was born on August 2, 1930 to her parents Ole and Myrtle (Swenson) Lokken at home, rural Blanchardville, WI. Doris graduated from New Glarus High School in 1948. On February 3, 1952 she was united in marriage to Arthur Paulson at the Bethel Lutheran Church in Madison. Doris was a homemaker and mother for her three sons. Later, she worked in electronics manufacturing for many years, retiring from Nicolet Instruments. She loved dancing with her husband Art, running and walking, quilting, and trips to the casino.

Doris is survived by her sons Dennis (Susan) Paulson, Dan Paulson, and David (Char) Paulson, grandchildren Kristin Paulson, Ben Paulson, Shannon (TJ) Larson, and Lumi (Odari) McWhorter, and a great-grandson Kyler Larson. She is further survived by her brothers Dennis "Jimmy" (Mary) Lokken, Paul (Mert) Lokken, Glenn (Janice) Lokken, Jerry (Lynn) Lokken, Duane "Rollie" (Josie) Lokken, and Donald Lokken, sisters Sylvia Lokken, Carol (Peter) Riphahn, Janice Lokken, Linda Palzkill, Marilyn Wood, and Donna Moreno, sisters-in-law Thelma Lokken and Daisy Lokken, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Art, brothers Otis, Robert, and Kenneth, sister-in-law Ginny Lokken, and brother-in-law Don Palzkill.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Monday, May 17, 2021 at the Zentner-Beal Funeral Home, 29 Sixth Ave., New Glarus, WI. Please follow current mask and social distancing guidelines.

Family and friends are welcome to attend the graveside committal service at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, May 17, 2021 at the Old York Cemetery, at the intersection of State Rd. 39 and State Rd. 78, Blanchardville, WI. Pastor Dara Schuller-Hanson will officiate.
