Doris E. Jeglum, age 88, of New Glarus passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at her home. She was born on August 6, 1926 at Monroe, WI to her parents Olen and Irene (Sponem) Hustad. Doris graduated from New Glarus High School. On June 15, 1944 she was united in marriage to Enos Jeglum. Doris was a mother and homemaker who enjoyed needlework and golfing. She was a member of the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in New Glarus. She is survived by her children James (Emily) Jeglum of Reeseville, WI, Brian (Sally) Jeglum of New Glarus, WI and MarLyn Jeglum of New Glarus, WI, grandchildren Holly LaPorte, New Glarus, WI, Jen (Tim Croy) LaPorte, New Glarus, WI, Amber (Gleb) Kozlov, Portland, OR, Jason (Irma) Blazek, Hartford, WI, Jessica (Troy) Lauersdorf, Waterloo, WI, Ben Jeglum, Tampa, FL, and Cameron Jeglum, New Glarus, WI, great-grandchildren Mitchell and Keegan Lauersdorf, Gabbriella and Hayley Blazek, Conner Gustafson, and Elizabethe Croy. She is further survived by her brother Gene (Ardys) Hustad, Hudson, WI, sisters Shirley Dunn, McFarland, WI and Eileen (Bill) Liedholm, Vero Beach, FL, sisters-in-law Lois (Erv) Evenson, Janesville, WI, Mary Hustad, Bernice Hustad, Bea Pope, and Alice Jeglum all of New Glarus, WI, and a son-in-law Dave LaPorte, Chicago, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Enos, sisters Lenice Hustad, Betty Bristow, and Wilda Wilhelm, and brothers Arthur and William Hustad. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 506 Twelfth Avenue, New Glarus, WI with the Rev. Gene Talley officiating with burial in the Swiss Church Cemetery, New Glarus, WI. Relatives and friends may call from 12:00 p.m. until time of services on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in New Glarus.
