Donna J. Gehin, age 85 of Belleville passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at UW Hospital in Madison, WI.  She was born on June 8, 1940 on her parents Martin and Rosa (Adler) Keller's farm near Daleyville.  Donna graduated from Mt. Horeb High School in 1958.  On September 8, 1962 she was united in marriage to James Gehin, III at Holy Redeemer Catholic Mission in Mount Horeb.  Donna had worked for the State of Wisconsin Highway Commission until she became a mother and homemaker.  She would later work for many years as a seamstress doing alterations at the Boston Store and out of her home.  She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Belleville and the Catholic Women's Club along with the Sugar River Senior Center.  She lived with her heart wide open and was always whisking, stirring or baking a sweet treat to share with family, friends or the community she loved.

Donna is survived by her husband James, children Teresa (Jeffrey) Legler, Julie (Thomas) Wendt, Barbara Bahr, James (Rebecca) Gehin, IV, and Christopher Gehin, grandchildren Casey (Kristin Hartwig) Legler, Carley (JC) Francois, Kelsey (Garrett) Lyon, Mitchell (Alison) Wendt, Samantha (Peter) Van Duzor, Morgan (fiancé Chance Hammacher) Wendt, Weston (Lindsey) Bahr, Nathan (Oscar Valdez) Bahr, Colton Bahr, Bradley (Alessandra Sardina) Gehin, and Addison Gehin.  She is further survived by her brothers Harold (Shirley) Keller, Martin Keller, Jr., sister Diane (John) Shea, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Lisa, sisters Florence Culver, Vera Frey, and Viola Elmer, and brother Roland Keller.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 22, 2025 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 338 S. Harrison St., Belleville, WI with Fr. Chahm Gahng and Fr. Michael Moon officiating.  Burial will be in St. Raphael's Frenchtown Cemetery, Belleville, WI.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home, 109 Greenway Cross, Belleville, WI.
