Diane Marie (Knobel) Crapp, age 69, of New Glarus passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at her home. She was born on July 31, 1946 the daughter of Herbert and Darlene (Froh) Knobel. Diane graduated from New Glarus High School in 1965 and then went on to graduate from MATC with a degree in Human Services. She had managed a group home in Monroe, and then later worked for several area grocery stores retiring from Cub Foods. On February 14, 1988 she was united in marriage to Theodore Crapp. Diane was an avid reader and facebooker. She adored her feline companions Abbie and Maggie.

Diane is survived by her husband Ted of New Glarus, WI, daughters Brenda (Greg) Daino of Westfield, WI and Cherilyn (Derek) Frank of Arena, WI, grandchildren Dannielle (Matthew Holis) Sickels, Jacob Sickels, and Joseph Frank. She is further survived by her siblings Donna Knobel, Delayne Strand, Betsy (Paul) Elsner, and Dean Knobel all of New Glarus, WI, a niece Tamara (Jason) Nixon and nephews Gabe (Hannah) Strand and Joe (Rachael) Strand.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at the Zentner-Beal Funeral Home, 29 Sixth Ave., New Glarus, WI a visitation will precede the funeral services from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Zentner-Beal Funeral Home in New Glarus.
