Pastor Diane M. Clark, age 56, of Madison passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 24, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on September 4, 1954 in Brooklyn, NY to her parents Jack and Mary (Schwerdtman) Nannery. Diane attended Alverno and Marian Colleges, and earned a degree from Silver Lake College. She then earned her Master's from the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary. On October 9, 1976 Diane was united in marriage to Scott Clark in Beaver Dam, WI. Diane was most recently the pastor at Peace and Trinity United Methodist Churches in Richland Center, WI, and prior to that had served the congregations of Grace United Methodist Church in Belleville, WI, Zion United Methodist Church in Denmark, WI, and was the associate pastor at Sturgeon Bay United Methodist Church in Sturgeon Bay, WI. She was also a member of the Wisconsin Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. Diane was a lifelong learner and loved to knit for her granddaughters. Diane is survived by her husband Scott of Madison, WI, a daughter Sarah Clark of Madison, WI, two sons Andrew (Kayla) Clark of DePere, WI and Jonathan Clark of Sturgeon Bay, WI, two granddaughters Alexia and Kenzie, her mother Mary Nannery of Beaver Dam, WI and mother-in-law Joyce Clark of Sun Prairie, WI, two sisters Barb Warmka of Beaver Dam, WI and Linda Clements of New Port Richey, FL, and a daughter in spirit Jamie Dams of Charleston, SC. She was preceded in death by her father Jack Nannery and father-in-law Russell Clark. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 28, 2010 at Grace United Methodist Church, 246 W. Pearl St., Belleville, WI with Rev. William Dushek officiating with burial in the Montrose Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until time of service on Thursday, October 28, 2010 at Grace United Methodist Church in Belleville.
