Delores Ann Steiner, age 69, of New Glarus passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2012 at the New Glarus Home after a brief battle with lung cancer. She was born on March 11, 1943 near Forward in the Town of Perry to her parents Grant and Hazel (Gladem) Boley. Delores attended New Glarus High School. On July 18, 1959 she was united in marriage to Marvin Steiner at Madison, WI by Judge Roy Proctor. Delores worked as a C.N.A. at the New Glarus Home for thirty nine years. She enjoyed family gatherings, cookouts, card playing, dancing, car shows, riding motorcycles, and nascar. Delores is survived by her two sons, Mark Steiner of New Glarus, WI, Steven (Martha Lisser) Steiner of Monroe, WI, a granddaughter Brenda, step grandchildren Josh, Rex, Tabitha, and Dana, great-grandchildren Jada, Isabella, Christopher, and Trinity, and five step-great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her brothers Merlin Boley and Gary (Sharon) Boley, sisters JoAnn (Richard) Voegeli, Carolyn Smail, Diane (Darris) Bidlingmaier, Debbie (James) Grossen, Rita (Robert) Klassy, and Linda (Keith) Disch, sisters-in-law Betty Boley, Ramona Waefler, Marlene Jeglum, and Sandy Hershberger, a good friend Allen Luchsinger, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Marvin, brothers Donald, Rodger, and Bruce Boley, sister-in-law Lorna Boley, and brother-in-law Robert (Lefty) Smail. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at the New Glarus Home Chapel, 600 Second Ave, New Glarus, WI (access via the Elm Dr. entrance) with Pastor Mary Gafner officiating with burial in the Swiss Church Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at the Zentner-Beal Funeral Home, 29 Sixth Ave, New Glarus, WI. A memorial fund has been established.
