David L. Nichols died on November 24.  He was 90 years old.

David was a farmer and resident of Belleville, WI.  He was born on December 8, 1932 on the family farm outside of Hebron, IL.  After being raised there, David married Virginia ("Ginny") Faye Howell, his high school sweetheart, in 1952.  They resided in the area around Woodstock, IL before moving to a farm south of Belleville in 1967.  In addition to farming, David's career included managing other farms and selling farm real estate.  David loved the Belleville community.

His wife of 64 years predeceased him in 2016.  He is survived by six children Jeff, Scott, Dan, John, Nancy, and Tom; twelve grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

In the spring, there will be a graveside memorial service for family and close friends.  David will be buried in the Nichols family plot in the Linn Cemetery near the Nichols family homestead west of Hebron, IL.
