Clarice Virginia "Sis" (Gander) Willoughby, age 95, of Belleville passed away on Friday, November 23, 2012 at Hometown Assisted Living in Belleville. She was born on February 14, 1917 in Stoughton to her parents Clarence and Clara (Ladd) Gander. Clarice graduated from Stoughton High School. On October 22, 1936 she was united in marriage to Lester Willoughby at Stoughton, WI. Clarice owned and operated Willoughby Radio and TV with her husband in Belleville for over thirty years. She was also an expert seamstress and specialized in dressing and repairing antique dolls. Clarice enjoyed collecting dolls and was known for the cornhusk dolls that she made and sold at countless area craft fairs. She demonstrated this craft for thirty-five years throughout Dane County Schools through the Retired Senior Volunteer Program. Clarice was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Belleville and the United Methodist Women. Clarice is survived by her daughters; Kathie (Darold) Blum of Belleville, WI, Gloria Moyer of New Lisbon, WI, and Ellen Tyree of Belleville, WI, nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lester in 1993, a grandson Paul Moyer in 2006, a sister Edna Gander-Gillette in 1999 and brother Wilmer Gander in 1982. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at the Grace United Methodist Church, 236 W. Pearl St., Belleville, WI with the Rev. Edwin Vargas officiating with burial in the Belleville Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home, 109 Greenway Cross, Belleville, WI and from 10:00 a.m. until time of service on Wednesday, November 28th at Grace United Methodist Church in Belleville.
