Clarence E. Cupp, age 89 passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at the New Glarus Home.  He was born on May 9, 1934 in Richland Center, WI the son of Marion and Doretta (Glick) Cupp.  Clarence graduated from Richland Center High School in 1953.  In 1956 he entered into service in the U.S. Army and served in Germany until his discharge in 1958.  On February 13, 1960 he was united in marriage to Beverly Burkheimer in Dubuque, IA.  Clarence had worked as a mechanic at Kayser Ford, drove for Roehl Transport, and retired from Federal Industries in Belleville.  He enjoyed the outdoors spending weekends at the family farm and hunting.  He also enjoyed boating, snowmobiling, playing horseshoes, and shooting pool.

Clarence is survived by his children Douglas (Kris) Cupp, Heidi (Barry Gordon) Adams, and Tonja (Jeff) Grindle, grandchildren Aimee (Darrick Hoesly) Cupp, Alex Cupp, Courtney (Nick Broetzmann) Adams, Collin (Allie Ladron) Adams, Savannah (Travis) Syvrud, Spencer (Tricia) Grindle, and Sienna Grindle, great-grandchildren Hunter, Kensley, Maxton, Adalynn, and Everlee, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Beverly, infant son Kimmy, and brothers Charles, Earl, and John.

A visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home, 109 Greenway Cross, Belleville, WI.

A time of remembrance will conclude the visitation at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Burial with military honors will be at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at the Bloom City Cemetery, rural Bloom City, WI.
