Charles "Chuck" Ingwell, age 80 passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at Agrace HospiceCare, Inc. in Fitchburg.  He was born on July 10, 1944 in Monroe, WI the son of Marshall and Claudine (Smedsrud) Ingwell.  Chuck graduated from New Glarus High School and continued his education at the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse and then earned a Master's Degree at Iowa State.  On July 13, 1968 he was united to Marjorie Kay Embertson in New Glarus, WI.  Chuck worked for many years in the financial and banking industry, retiring in 2010 as the COO of Heartland Credit Union.  He was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Middleton and gave back to his community through countless volunteer hours.

Chuck is survived by his wife Marjorie, children Chandra (Mark) Anderson and Charles Carter Ingwell, grandchildren Beck and Dana Anderson and Noah and Maya Ingwell.  He is further survived by his sisters Judy Kundert and Claudia (Ed) Hirsch, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers-in-law Ken Kundert and Richard Embertson, and sister-in-law Diane Janssen.

A celebration of Chuck's life will be held on Father's Day 2025 at Yellowstone Lake State Park, rural Blanchardville, WI.
