IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Charles "Chuck"
Fahey
November 20, 1970 – October 5, 2024
Your work here is done...
Chuck "Charles" Fahey passed away unexpectedly on October 5th, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and an unbreakable bond with his family. Chuck's life was centered around those he loved, and at the heart of it all was his beloved wife, Wendy. He never missed a chance to tell the world just how lucky he was to be married to his "smokin' hot wife." Their love was a true partnership full of affection, humor, and unwavering devotion. Together they built a home where family, laughter, and love always came first.
Chuck was the proud father of Logan, Dalton and Sawyer, and there was nothing he loved more than spending time with his children and extended family. His joy for life shone brightest when he was with his family, creating memories filled with laughter, stories, and moments that will forever be cherished. Chuck's humor and warmth were unmatched. He was always smiling, always quick with a compliment, and always ready to crack a joke to bring joy to those around him. To know Chuck was to experience pure happiness and he had an incredible way of making everyone feel welcome and loved.
When it came to hard work, Chuck embodied dedication and grit. Raised on his family's farm, Chuck knew from a young age that he was destined to be a farmer. Over the years, he grew into one of the most respected farmers in the community. His hands-on approach and love for the land earned him dozens of herdsman awards, a testament to the tireless work he put into caring for his cows and the fields. Chuck's work ethic wasn't limited to the farm. In 1989, his athletic dedication awarded him the state 100 & 200 championship in track and field, setting a record that still stands at Belleville High School for the 100. This achievement showcased his competitive spirit and determination. His children, following closely in his footsteps, carried on this tradition of athletic excellence, inspired by the example Chuck set.
Chuck is survived by his wife Wendy (Torkelson); children Logan, Dalton, Sawyer (Emaleigh McNeece); his parents Jim and Sheryl Fahey; siblings Angie (Tim) Boldt, Jeff (Beth), and Mark (Trudi) Fahey; his in-laws Russ and Sue (Torkelson); his sisters Angie (Tim) Edge, Lacy (Nick) Oster, Christina (Dan) Bleifuss and Chantel (Matt) Dunwiddie and nieces and nephews; Jaron, Jillian, Nick, Tyler, Kenna, Jake, Addison, Aiden, Keira, Jack, Evan, Elin, Boden, Annie, Ellie, Clara, Grace, and Crew.
At rest he joins his maternal grandparents Paul and Doris Thornton, paternal grandparents Robert Fahey and Palma Mueller; several aunts and uncles and a special family friend Eric O'Connor.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, October 11, 2024 at First United Church of Christ, 130 E. Church St., Belleville, WI with Rev. Laura Kolden officiating. A Celebration of Chuck's Life will follow the memorial service at Prairieland Dairy, rural Belleville.
