Beverly A. Jenkins, age 77, passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2014, in Oconomowoc. She was born in Richland Center on December 12, 1936. She graduated from Avoca High School and went on to receive a degree from the Misericordia School of Nursing and practiced many years as a Registered Nurse. Beverly will be remembered for her warm and caring personality. She was a nurturing mother, grandmother, caregiver and showed compassion for anyone who came into contact with her. She enjoyed drawing, quilting and many forms of art. She is survived by her children, Bob (Pat) Jenkins of Verona, Jim (Marge) Jenkins of Cross Plains, Tom (Michelle Boegel) Jenkins of Belleville, Dave (Joy) Jenkins of Verona, Jerry Jenkins of Waunakee, Mary (Rich) Williams of Oconomowoc and Kathy (Troy) Femrite of Greenville; grandchildren, Kyle and Alex Jenkins; Erin Jenkins; Alex, Austin and Tony Boegel; Ann (Ben) Mussehl, Sarah, Jared and Mitch Jenkins; Morgan Jenkins; Hunter, Peyton and Merek Williams; and Brooke, Jaden and Kelsyn Femrite; and brothers Pat (Carla), Mike (Audrey), Dan, Dennis, Kevin (Sue), Brian (Ann), Terry, and sister Maureen (Tom) Breunig. A special thanks to Beverly's caregiver, Paula Madenberg, for her kind and loving care. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Jenkins; her parents, Robert and Marjorie (Trentzsch) McGill; and her brother, Bill McGill. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 14, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at ST. CHRISTOPHER CATHOLIC PARISH, 301 N. Main St, Verona, with the Rev. William Vernon officiating. Friends may call from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Sunday, July 13, 2014, at the BECKER BEAL FUNERAL HOME, 109 Greenway Cross, Belleville. Memorials are suggested to the Gordon and Beverly Jenkins Fund held within the Madison Community Foundation.
