Betty J. Zweifel, age 82, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at her home. She was born on March 15, 1934 to her parents Henry and Mary (Richards) Aebly. On July 31, 1950 she was united in marriage to Melvin Zweifel at Dubuque, IA.   Betty was a mom and homemaker.

Betty is survived by her children Michael Zweifel of Poynette, WI, Jack Zweifel, and Kristi Zweifel of Madison, WI, two grandchildren Kurt and Karla Zweifel, and three great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her sisters Marilyn Hefty of Ripon, WI and Kathy (Don) Schaller of Verona, WI and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Melvin, and three children Larry, Thomas, and an infant son, and a brother Henry Aebly, Jr..

A graveside inurnment service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at the Belleville Cemetery.
