Beth Lorraine Waelti, age 88, formerly of Belleville passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at the Alden Meadow Park Health Care Center in Clinton. She was born on September 18, 1921 in the Town of Rutland to her parents George and Ann (Hovland) South. Lorraine graduated from Stoughton High School in 1940. On May 28, 1943 she was united in marriage to Burnett M. Waelti at Immanuel Lutheran Church at Junction City, KS. Lorraine was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Belleville, the Belleville Senior Citizens, and the Wheeler & Dealer Singers. Lorraine is survived by her two sons Larry Waelti of Stoughton and Jeff Waelti of Belleville, three daughters Gloria (Felix) Johnston of Loveland, CO, Lou Ann (James) Harrington of Beloit, WI, and Linda (Richard) Fargo of Arena, WI, nine grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, and a brother Lee (Eleanor) South of McFarland, WI She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Burnett, two brothers, a son-in-law Paul Hallock, and a grandson Tim Harrington. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 26, 2010 at the Grace United Methodist Church, 236 West Pearl St., Belleville, WI with the Rev. Edwin Vargas officiating with burial in the Belleville Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services on Monday, April 26, 2010 at the Grace United Methodist Church in Belleville.
