Obituary

Belinda Ann Reuter, age 48, of Monticello passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2010 surrounded by her family. She was born on September 6, 1961 in Madison to her parents Robert and Beverly (Austin) Flanagan. Belinda graduated from Belleville High School in 1979. On October 4, 1980 she was united in marriage to Robin R. Reuter at Monticello, WI. Belinda worked for the State of Wisconsin Department of Revenue and Department of Transportation for thirty years; in addition she was a Longaberger basket representative. Belinda was a member of the Primrose Lutheran Church; she was also a member of the Monticello Lioness, the Monticello Music Parents, the Monticello Foundation, and a supporter of the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. Belinda was an avid fan for any of the University of Wisconsin sports teams, and was her boys' number one fan for any sport they played. Belinda is survived by her husband Robin; three sons Robert Reuter, Ross (Becky Jeglum) Reuter, and Rhett Reuter; a granddaughter Samantha Sherman "who meant the world to her"; parents Robert and Beverly Flanagan; a sister Brenda (Robert) Gehin; a brother Brad (Gerisue) Flanagan; grandmother Belva Austin; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by a daughter Brittany A. Reuter in 1987, grandfather Glenys Austin in 2008, and grandmother Frances Flanagan in 1995. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 3rd, 2010 at the Primrose Lutheran Church, 8770 Ridge Dr., Belleville, WI with the Rev. Nicole Espe officiating with burial in the Swiss Church Cemetery, New Glarus. Relatives and friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 2nd, 2010 at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home, 109 Greenway Cross, Belleville, WI, and from 10:00 a.m. until time of service on Friday at the Primrose Lutheran Church. The family would like to thank Green County Hospice for their compassionate care. Memorials are suggested to the Monroe Clinic Hospice.
