Ardetta Ann Kampa, 91, of Madison, WI, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2014 at the New Glarus Home in New Glarus, WI. She was born on June 13, 1922 in Laona, WI to her parents, Richard and Matilda (Flynn) Shilts. Ardetta graduated from Stanley High School and lived in the Stanley and Thorp area. She was married to Charles McQuillan and later divorced. She moved to Cudahy, WI where she married Lawrence Kampa. Ardetta retired from the Ladish Corporation in Cudahy, WI. Ardetta is survived by her daughter, Patricia Kotlowski of Stoughton, WI and son, Charles (Tami) McQuillan of Gillett, WI, 9 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren, two brothers Richard (Bedi) Shilts, Stanley, WI and Gilbert (Marty) Shilts, St. Francis, WI, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her three children, Richard, Francis and Judith McQuillan, parents and husbands. Per Ardetta's wishes no services will be held.
